Demographic Profile
Cebu City is a coastal highly urbanized city in the Central Visayas region. Although administratively independent due to its distinction as a highly urbanized city, Cebu City is commonly grouped with the island province of Cebu. The highly urbanized city also serves as the provincial capital as well as the regional center of Central Visayas.
Climate
Cebu weather can generally be described as either hot and wet or hot and dry. With a tropical climate, the year is split into just those 2 seasons: wet from May to December and dry from January to April. Given that Cebu province consists of a total of 168 islands, there are naturally going to be a few slight variations and microclimates, but you’ll still find that rainfall is generally more likely at one time of year and less likely during the other.
Trade, Commerce, & Industry
